For three hour programs, the packages and costs below apply:
Package A: Cost $2.50 per student
Hands-on Exhibit Areas, and the Light, Optics, and Visual Perception Room (limit 80 students).
Package B: Cost $5.00 per student
Hands-on Exhibit Areas, the light, Optics, and Visual Perception Room, and STARLAB shows designed around visiting teacher’s needs (one STARLAB Show per 25 students).
Package C: Cost $7.00 per student
Special Topic Programs designed in collaboration with WLSC SMART-Center staff and visiting teachers or a choice of topics including Buoynacy, Light and Color, and Physics with Toys (see sample list). Included in this package is the Light, Optics, and Visual Perception Room (limit 80 students).
Package D: Cost $8.50 per student
Combination of packages A & C: Hands-on Exhibit Areas and the Light, Optics,and Visual Perception Room with Special Topic Programs designed in collaboration with WLSC SMART-Center staff and visiting teachers or a choice of science and math topics (see list).
Package E: Cost $10.00 per student
Combination of packages B & C: Hands-on Exhibit Areas and the Light, Optics, and Visual Perception Room with STARLAB shows designed around visiting teacher’s needs (one STARLAB show per 25 students) and Special Topic
Programs designed in collaboration with WLSC SMART-Center staff and visiting teachers or program topic chosen from sample list.
Note: there must be one participating adult chaperone for every eight students attending the above programs. These participating adult chaperones may attend the programs free of charge. We need a two week notice including date, time, numbers of students, teacher’s needs, and program topic(s) to design and arrange our programs around the needs of your students and teachers. A deposit of $25.00 must be received one week prior to the event. In the event of snow or other related emergencies, weather or otherwise, all attempts at rescheduling will be made to assure the group of participation in the planned program at a later date.
