National Astronomy Day 2007 Poster Contest

Theme: "Lunar Lighthouse"

► All entries must have the student's complete name, age, grade, teacher and school name, and school address on the back to be eligible to win.

► Only one entry per student. No group entries. Kindergarten through sixth grade students are eligible.

► Maximum poster size is 8.5 by 11 inches (standard typing paper).

All poster entries must be postmarked no later than

April 16, 2007

► Teachers may send all poster entries from the same class or school in the same large manila envelope.

► Posters will not be returned.

► Winners will be announced April 21, 2007, at 8:00 p.m., during the National Astronomy Day celebration at the Brooke Hills Park Cardinal Shelter.

► The artist of the winning poster will receive a free StarWatch for their school hosted by the staff of the WLSC SMART-Center, members of ASTROLABE Astronomy Club, & the Near Earth Object Foundation.
